Learn the basic concepts and structure of emergency support services in Canada. This three (3) hour course explores the framework, principles and components involved in effectively responding to emergencies or disasters. This course is a prerequisite for most of the other ESS courses and replaces the ESS100 Introduction to ESS course.
The purpose of this course is to introduce the basic concepts and structure of emergency support services.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:

- Explain the role and structure of ESS
- Describe the rights and responsibilities of ESS responders
